SOUNDSCAN Report: TESLA, BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION, KATAKLYSM, DECAPITATED
March 17, 2004TESLA's first collection of new material since 1994's "Bust a Nut", entitled "Into the Now", sold 30,284 copies in the U.S. during its first week of release to enter The Billboard 200 chart at No. 31. Meanwhile, BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION's debut album, "Here Comes The Brides", moved 13,694 units to debut at No. 92. At the more extreme end of the metal spectrum, KATAKLYSM's "Serenity In Fire" sold 682 copies in its opening week, according to Nielsen SoundScan, while DECAPITATED's "The Negation" registered a first-week tally of 831.
